Robert Milde

Pastor Robert C. Milde, 67, of Sparta, WI, died suddenly Tuesday, January 6, 2004 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born November 17, 1936 in Lewiston to Clarence and Verna (Sogla) Milde. He married Juanita Conkling and she preceded him in death on July 9, 1995. He later married Carolyn C. Lindner on February 14, 2003.

He served as a minister for 30 years and had been pastor of Zion Evangelical Church in Brownsville for many years. In recent years he enjoyed raising exotic animals.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn, Sparta; his mother, Verna Arzberger, Kasson; four sons, Scott (Susan), Rockland, WI, Robert (Kelly), Conrad, IA, David, Zumbrota, and Andrew (Leah), Holmen, WI; three step-sons, Ray, Jeff and Paul Johnson and their families; three grandchildren; two brothers, Jim (Leslie), Arizona, and John (Bonnie) of Minnesota.

In addition to his first wife, Juanita, he was preceded in death by his father, Clarence.

Services will be Monday, January 12, at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Church in Brownsville with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Brian Cuda will officiate. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
