Posted: 6/18/04 Kenneth DuffKenneth Ward Duff, 76, died Saturday, June 12, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ken was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 6, 1928. During his lifetime Dad worked as a travelling salesman, ran a restaurant and operated several carpet stores. His work, love of travel and meeting people took him throughout the United States and Canada. Dad will be remembered for his positive attitude, charm, sense of humor and warm smile. He enjoyed reading, travelling, fishing and especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved nothing more than to share a good story over a cup of coffee with friends. He is survived by his two children Kimberly (Tom) Sands, St. Paul, and Keith (Susan) Duff, Selkirk, MB, Canada; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Mitchell, Caledonia; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Ken was predeceased by his parents John and Carolyn, his sister Ruth and his brothers Ray, Ferris and Glen. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Kenís wishes, a private family interment will follow in Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada at a later date.
