Ronald Klug

Ronald Michael Klug, 52, of Caldonia, MN, died Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, WI, of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born April 10, 1952 in Caledonia to Virgil and Fidelis (Lucas) Klug. He graduated from Caledonia High School in 1971. He married Susan Danielson in September of 1971. They later divorced.

Ron worked at Northern Engraving in Spring Grove. He loved motorcycle riding, and traveling to motorcycle rallies, especially going to Sturgis, SD. He also enjoyed minature horses, gun collecting, and hamburger steaks at Frankieís in Caledonia. He was a member of St. Maryís Catholic Church, Caledonia. Ron was a kind, gentle man that loved to laugh.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristi (Steve) Rogich, Winona; a son Jesse (Carrie) Klug, Caledonia; two grandchildren; a sister Alice (Don) Link, Caledonia; special friend, Kristi Norgard, Caledonia and her children; and good friend, John Schansberg, Caledonia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Earl.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, at St. Maryís Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Gregory Leif will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 pm at McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia, where a rosary will be said at 6 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the church Tuesday.
