Keith Myhre

Keith ìPeanutsî Anthony Myhre, 59, of Spring Grove, MN, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at his home after a year long battle with cancer. He was born in Spring Grove on December 9, 1944, to Clarence and Alice (Stigen) Myhre. He was a lifelong Spring Grove area resident and graduated from Spring Grove Public School and attended Winona Vo-Tech. Keith had been in the United States Army. On May 25, 1996, he married Diane Pellowski.

Keith had been employed at Cam Car Textron in Decorah, IA; a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove; and a member of American Legion Post #249 in Spring Grove, where he had been a Sargeant of Arms, Adjutant and First Vice Commander. Peanuts will always be remembered as an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

He is survived by his wife, Diane of Spring Grove; a son, Tanner Keith Myhre at home; a brother, Donnie Myhre, Rochester; three sisters: Valerie (Gene) Christensen, Preston, Marjorie (James) Lee, Rochester, and Kathleen (Mike) Nelson, Coralville, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Patricia Kuntz and Carol Nordsving.

Services will be Saturday, May 8, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Zane Anderson will officiate. Military Rites will be provided by American Legion Post #249 of Spring Grove. Friends may call Friday from 3:30-7 p.m. at Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
