Donna Olson
Donna J. Olson, 62, of rural Mabel, died Sunday, October 10, 2004 at home.
Donna was born January 7, 1942 in Chicago to Henry and Sylvia (Pfaff) Stetzer. She graduated from Houston High School. On June 3, 1961 she married Kenneth Schroeder. They later divorced. She continued to live in Caledonia and worked at the Crest Motel. On February 28, 1987, she married Paul Olson. They lived in rural Mabel. She was a member of the Scheie Lutheran Church and WELCA.
Donna is survived by her husband Paul of Mabel; her parents Henry and Sylvia Stetzer of Hokah; three daughters, Deanna (Harley) Welscher of Mabel, Sherry Williams of La Crosse, and Lisa Bulman of Caledonia; two sons, Todd of Burnsville, MN; and Tony (Gwen) of La Crescent, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2004 at the Scheie Lutheran Church in rural Mabel with the Rev. Mary Waudby officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 13 at the Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel and one hour prior to services at the church.
