Evelyn I. Johnson
Evelyn I. Johnson, 81, of Pine Island, formerly of Houston, died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at St. Maryís Hospital.
Evelyn was born May 1, 1923. She married Harold T. Johnson of Houston. They lived and farmed in rural Black Hammer and Sheldon. Evelyn worked in many factories.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Bethalee (Johnson) Chase.
Survivors include her three sons, Steve of Prior Lake, MN, Frank (Linda) Johnson of Jerico Springs, MO, and Kenneth (Carol) of Nelson, WI; one son-in-law Patrick Chase of Mantorville, MN; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, October 12 at Swede Bottom Cemetery, Houston.
