Klug announces council candidacy
Gary Klug has announced his candidacy as a write-in for Caledonia City Council.
Klug is a 1978 graduate of Caledonia High School and a 2001 graduate of Viterbo University, where he studied finance and management. He is employed at Caledonia Implement and also has rental property. He has a son, Casey.
Garyís brother, John, is an incumbent city councilman whose term expires at the end of the year and who did not file for reelection.
ìI have the time and I would like to do something for the town,î said Klug. He said he feels his education would be useful in the position.
ìIíve been to meetings and there is more to it than people realize,î said Klug. ìYou have to have time to do the research.î
Klug said heíd like to see the town grow with new businesses, and would like to see the existing businesses grow as well.
