Boys soccer

The Caledonia boys soccer team headed into the second round of the Section 1A tournament with a 2-0 home victory over Winona Cotter on October 16.
The Warriors (14-1-3) also tied Cotter in their last regular season game 1-1 on October 11.

Football

Caledonia used a balance attack to beat Southland in football on a cold and rainy October 15, 29-6.
The Warriors (6-1) rushed for 187 yards, with Justin Conway gaining 113 yards on 27 carries. That ground game used a lot of time and kept Southland off the field.

Girls soccer


The Caledonia girlsí soccer team ended its regular season with a shut out, and began section tournament play the same fashion.
The girls held Winona Cotter scoreless and kicked in four goals on October 11.

Volleyball

The Caledonia volleyball team ran into two buzzsaws last week in the teams from Kingsland and Chatfield.
The Warriors traveled to Kingsland on Tuesday, October 12 where they were defeated in three games, 22-25, 18-25 and 9-25.
Thursday, October 14 was the Warriorsí last home game of the season in which they hosted Chatfield. Caledonia went down again in three games: 23-15, 17-25 and 23-25.
