La Crescent police seek help to solve robbery
The La Crescent Police Department is seeking help in solving a robbery.
Here are the details of the incident from police chief Todd Nelson:
At 2:11 a.m. on Monday, September 27, 2004, the bartender at the Crescent Inn Bar, located at 444 North Chestnut Street, reported opening the back door of the bar for an unknown individual.
The male individual grabbed the female bartender and held a handgun to her head, asking for the money. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the cash register.
The bartender described the individual as 5'8"-5'10", approximately 180 pounds, possibly a black male, wearing a red ski mask, green sweat pants, a black coat and black shoes with red on the tips.
A citizen observed two individuals leaving the area.
