Harvey A. Lorenz
Harvey A. Lorenz, 94, of Arcadia and formerly of Alma, died Thursday, July 28, 2005, at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare, Arcadia campus.
Harvey was born February 3, 1911, in the town of Lincoln, Buffalo County, WI, a son of the late Albert and Emma (Heller) Lorenz.
He married Lavina Foegen on September 17, 1934, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, and she preceded him in death June 17, 1982. He married Florence Anderson on February 25, 1989, in Alma. She died March 3, 2002.
Harvey farmed in the town of Lincoln for many years. He was a lifelong member of St Boniface Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Order of Fresters.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Burrill) Dreifke of Milton, WI, and Carolyn (Robert) Pronschinske of Arcadia; one stepdaughter, Gayle (Lee) Grippen of Caledonia; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents and wives, three brothers and one sister preceded Harvey in death.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 1, at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
Friends called Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Talbot Family Funeral Home, Stohr-Hagen-Wozney Chapel in Alma and at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of Mass.
