Kristine Marie Hayes and Joseph Benjamin Stemper exchanged wedding vows April 16, 2005 at St. Maryís Catholic Church in Caledonia.

Parents of the couple are Joseph and Jane Hayes and Eugene and Saverna Stemper, all of Caledonia.

Maid of Honor was Jennifer Hayes. Bridesmaids were Kelly Lunder, Anna Bernau, Bethany Sauer and Mary Stemper. Personal Attendants were Melissa Lange and Sarah Fruechte.

Best Man was Dave Stemper. Groomsmen were John Stemper, Sam Kittleson, John Fruechte and Tommy Tollefson. Ushers were Rich Stemper, Jim Stemper, Brent Augedahl and Matt Morey.

Father Greg Leif officiated. Suzanne Renslo and Tracy Ross greeted the guests. Hosts and Hostesses were DeWayne and Joyce Guillaume and Al and Laurie Stemper.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Four Seasons Community Center in Caledonia.

The couple honeymooned at the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort in Mexico. Kris is employed by the Mayo Employees Credit Union in Rochester. Joe is employed by Pearson and Stemper Electric in Byron. They reside in Stewartville.
