Loretta Rostad
Loretta B. Rostad, 67, of Spring Grove, died Saturday, December 17, 2005 at St. Maryís Hospital in Rochester, MN.
She was born January 3, 1938 in Spring Grove to Hildus and Geneva (Watson) Anderson. She was a lifelong Spring Grove resident, except for living in Milwaukee for a short period of time.
She was a 1956 Spring Grove High School graduate. In 1957 Loretta maried Merle Rostad.
Loretta worked at Control Data, Northern Engraving, Redís IGA, and the Ballard House, all in Spring Grove.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove, and the Spring Grove American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Greg (Kelly) Rostad of Colorado Springs, CO, and Tony (Debbie) Rostad of Albertville, MN; four grandchildren; two soon to be three great-grandchildren; one brother, Ordell Anderson; and three sisters, Lorna Cox, Linda Phillips, and Lynette Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Merle, a son Mike, her parents, and a brother Gaylen.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. There will be no visitation. Pastor Zane Anderson will officiate.
Roble Funeral Home of Spring Grove is in charge of arrangements.
