Businesses observe holiday hours
Many Caledonia merchants will be open until 7 p.m. through Friday, December 23, and until 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 24.
Due to Christmas and New Yearís falling on Sundays, many offices and businesses will be closed on Monday, December 26, and Monday, January 2, including government offices. The Caledonia City hall will close at noon on December 23 and 30 as well.
Because of the holidays, The Argus will observe an early deadline for the next two weeks. Deadline for the issues of December 28 and January 3 is noon the previous Thursday for classified ads, letters and articles, and 5 p.m. for display ads.
