Barbara J. Rauk

Barbara J. Rauk, 46, of Caledonia and formerly of Spring Grove, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at her home.

She was born April 20, 1959 in Spring Grove, to Paul and Josie (Landsom) Rauk. Barbara was baptized on June 28, 1959 and confirmed on October 27, 1974 both at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. She was currently a member at Faith Lutheran Church in Black Hammer.

Barb is a 1977 graduate of Spring Grove High School. She attended one year of LPN training at Winona Technical College.

On October 18, 1980 Barb married Douglas DeWall at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Caledonia. They were later divorced. She was engaged to be married on April 29, 2006 to Tony Jones.

Barb was employed at Caledonia Care and Rehab for 27 years. She enjoyed collecting antiques and angels. Barb loved life and was a caregiver to many and she will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Nichole DeWall (Dean Gavin); her son, Darin (Melissa) DeWall; a grandson; and her fiance, Tony Jones, all of Caledonia; one sister, Pauline (Larry) Lane; and one brother, George (Marian) Rauk, both of Spring Grove.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joyce, at birth.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 27, at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Black Hammer. Rev. Lane Zaffke will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Spring Grove. Friends may call at Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home, Caledonia, on Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
