GIRLS BASKETBALL: The Warriors started their season out last week with very solid wins against Chatfield, 57-47, and Rushford-Peterson, 67-29. If this is an indication of the way the rest of the season will go for this team, other coaches may want to pare their team down to the quick. Caledonia has eleven players, each one a returning letter winner. Every player saw plenty of time on the floor, and there were really no ëextraí players warming the bench.

WRESTLING: An undermanned Caledonia-/Houston/Spring Grove wrestling team finished sixth in the Winona Invitational Tournament on December 3.
The team finished with 150 points. Zumbrota-Mazeppa won with 188. All nine of the Caledonia wrestlers that competed placed.
