BOYS BASKETBALL: Caledonia boosted its record to 18-1 with two more boys basketball victories last week The Warriors beat Rushford-/Peterson 62-41 on January 25 in Rushford, then beat Southland at home two nights later, 75-35.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: It was a full week of basketball for the Caledonia girls. They were on the road for all three of their games and won two and lost one. Caledonia 62, Mabel-Canton 71; Caledonia 58, Southland 30; Caledonia 71, Dover-Eyota 46.


GYMNASTICS: It was another win for the Caledonia/Spring Grove gymnasts January 25 when the team hosted Wabasha. Scores for varsity were 119.925 for C/SG to 103.725 for Wabasha. The junior varsity team earned 85.30 points to 39.00 for the Wabasha JV.


WRESTLING: Caledonia/Houston/Spring Grove went 5-2 in a busy week of wrestling last week. They beat Dover-Eyota 32-24 on the road on January 25, then beat Southland 41-24 and Medford 43-25 in a triangular meet on January 28 in Southland. The Warriors then split four dual meets at the Caledonia Tournament. They beat Byron 48-16, lost to Stewartville 36-27, lost to Cannon Falls 45-24, then beat Wabasha-Kellogg 37-33 to finish out a long day.
