Aubrey Sauer and Matthew Kleinfeldt of Caledonia were united in marriage October 9, 2004 at St. Patrickís Church in Brownsville with the Rev. Paul Breza officiating.

Maid of honor was Amanda Sauer of New York, NY and attendants were Laurie Ann Olinger, La Crosse; Tracy Ross, Eden Prairie; and Sara Kleinfeldt, La Crosse. Marci Verweibe, La Crosse, and Renee Ames of Onalaska were personal attendants. Standing as best man for Matthew was Eric Ballwahn of La Crosse. Groomsmen were Kylie Yttri, Matt Gaworski and Jacob Martin, all of La Crosse. Ushers were Matt Ames of Onalaska; Chad Harms, Eden Prairie; and Neal Cameron, La Crosse. Mary Jo Schulze of Brownsville coordinated the event.

Parents of the couple are Ann Sauer of Caledonia, Ron Sauer of Brownsville, and Linda and Robert Kleinfeldt of Trempealeau, WI.

Aubrey is a 1996 La Crescent High School graduate and in 2001 earned her BA from UW-La Crosse with an English major and Spanish minor, with a creative writing emphasis. Matthew graduated from Galesville/Ettric/Trempealeau High School in 1993 and works as a machinist for Trane Co., La Crosse.
