Phyllis F. Ideker

Phyllis F. Ideker, of Hokah, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005.

She was born September 17, 1938, in LaCrosse, WI, to Robert and Esther (Kruse) Haar.

She married Robert J. Ideker on December 30, 1954. They recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Phyllis truly loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful servant of her Lord and her family.

She is survived by her husband Robert, Sr., children, Jean (Mark) Schwanbeck, Robert Jr. (Becky) Ideker, Jaynie (Joe) Sheffer, and Joseph (Karen) Ideker and 17 grandchildren, all of Hokah.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Jim Heintz.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25 at the Community Church of Hokah. Pastor Dave Possing will officiate. Burial will be at the Zion Church Cemetery in Brownsville at a later date.

Friends may call at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday and at the church from 9:30 until the time of services Friday. A lunch will follow the Friday Memorial Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Community Church of Hokah Building Fund.
