Benilde R. Grau
Benilde R. Grau, 76, of Brownsville, died Thursday, July 14, 2005 at her home.
She was born November 5, 1928, in Grulla, TX to Pedro and Martina Ruelas. She worked as Postmaster in Grulla for 21 years.
She married Francis Grau February 4, 1997, at St. Patrickís Catholic Church, Brownsville, where she was a member.
She is survived by her husband Francis of Brownsville; two sisters, Berta Olino and Aldonza Ruelas of Grulla; brother-in-law, Norbert Grau of Brownsville; sister in law, Sara Ruelas of Grulla; her godchild, Arlene Hegge of La Crescent; special niece Cecelia Hall of Round Rock, TX, special nephew, Leo Solis of Garciaville, TX and relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Miguel and a sister, Ofelia.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 18 at St. Patrickís Catholic Church, Brownsville. Father Paul Breza will officiate and burial will be in St. Patrickís Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30, Monday morning before the service at Breza Hall at St. Patrickís Church..
