Larry Erickson
Larry Wayne Erickson, 70, of Mabel, and formerly of Spring Grove, died June 9, 2005, at Green Lea Manor in Mabel.
He was born May 17, 1935, in Canton to Arnold and Evelyn (Hermanson) Erickson.
He was a lifelong area resident. On June 2, 1956 he married Shirley Opsahl at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. He worked at Northern Engraving in Spring Grove for twenty-five years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. He believed that children should stay busy, so he planted many gardens for his children to work in, he also enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife Shirley; three sons Terry, Jeffrey, and Billy (Amanda) Erickson; three daughters Brenda (Karl) RosendahI, Connie (Bob) Kewit, and Lisa (Layne) Mlsna; Ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; two brothers Dennis (Gloria) Erickson, and Junell Erickson; three sisters Marie Muller, Darla (Bi11) Mauer, and Pat Rollins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter Christina Marie Kewit, and four brothers.
Services will be held Mon. June 13, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. Burial is in the Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery. Pastor Stephanie Frey will officiate.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roble Funeral Service in Spring Grove, and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
