Antoinette Schiltz
Antoinette Eva Schiltz, 87, of La Crosse, WI, died on Sunday, June 12, 2005 at the Bethany St. Joseph Care Center.
She was born on July 18, 1917 in Caledonia to Philip and Anna (Peters) Bouquet. Antoinette married Leo P. Schiltz on August 29, 1940. She graduated from the St. Francis School of Nursing in La Crosse and worked as a public health nurse in Austin. She retired in 1978 and moved to La Crosse in1980. She enioyed crocheting and going on trips and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon A. Schmitz of Palm Desert, CA and Geri M. Marsolek of La Crosse; a son Roger J. Schiltz of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister Marge Bouquet of La Crescent; and several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000.
A Mass of Christlan Burial will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Rev David Kunz will officiate. Entombment will be in the St. Francis of Assisi Mausoleum, Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse is in charge of arrangements.
