Richard (Rick) Sullivan
Richard (Rick) Sullivan, 51, of Apple Valley, Minn., and formerly of Caledonia, died at his home Monday, June 6, 2005.
He was born Oct. 4, 1953, in Caledonia to James and Celesta (Burg) Sullivan. He graduated from Caledonia High School and attended WWTI in La Crosse. Rick worked for Wirsbo Co. of Apple Valley for many years in quality control for radiant heat. Prior to that, he worked at the nuclear plant in Champaign , IL, also in quality control.
He is survived by his mother, Celesta of Caledonia; two sisters, Jane of Burnsville, MN, and Mary (Tom) Nielson of Inver Grove Heights, MN.; two brothers, Joseph (Kathy) and John (Grace), both of Caledonia, and 17 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James; a brother, Bill; and his godson, Mark Sullivan.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, June 10, at St. Maryís Catholic Church, Caledonia. The Rev. Gregory Leif will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. Visitation will be one hour, from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
