Diana Marie Simmons
Diana Marie Simmons, 46, died March 16, 2005 as a result of health complications.
She was born in Missouri on March 26, 1958. Diana talked often of her travels throughout the country. She moved to our community, which she loved, seven years ago. Diana was happy living in her own apartment with supports through ABLE. Dianaís special companion was her cat, T.C., which she cherished.
She was proud to receive the Employee of the Year award by ABC/Woodland Ind.
Diana enjoyed watching movies and never missed an episode of her favorite TV show Lost. She was proud of her seven Medallions. She liked working at UW-L Chartwells with a team from Woodland Ind. Diana will be missed by her many friends at ABLE, Woodland, Whispering Pines, Sunrise, and all who knew her pleasant friendly personality.
Robert (Bones) Schroeder, from For His Glory Church will be performing a memorial/celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 21, at McCormick Funeral Home. A fellowship/luncheon will follow at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Caledonia. McCormick Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
