Cora Sylling Muller

Cora Louella Sylling Muller, 98, of Spring Grove died on March 1, 2005 at Tweeten Health Services in Spring Grove.

She was born July 14, 1906 in Sheyenne, ND to Lars and Christine Sylling. In 1910 she moved with her family to rural Spring Grove where they farmed. In 1924 she graduated from High School and in 1926 she received her teachers training degree. She taught school in the rural Houston and Spring Grove schools for two years prior to her marriage to Gustav Muller on January 21, 1928. They had two children, Helen and Charles.

In addition to her parents and husband, Cora was preceded in death by her son, Charles, her daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Donaid Holm, a granddaughter, Mary Holm, a step-great grandchild, Christopher Jordan, a brother, Leonard Sylling, and a sister, Gina Blegen.

She is survived by her grandchildren; two sisters, Julia Schroeder of Caledonia and Alma Hagen of Spring Grove; two great-grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove with burial following in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday at the Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove and one hour prior to services on Friday.
