Eugene LeJeune
Eugene E. ìBudî LeJeune, 80, of Brownsville, died on Monday, March 7, 2005 at the Franciscan-Skemp Medical Center, La Crosse, Wis.
He was born on March 11, 1924 in the Town of Shelby, La Crosse County, Wisconsin to John and Mary (Strasser) LeJeune.
On August 13,1946, he married Faye Vodraska In La Crosse.
Eugene had worked as a machinist for the Trane Company in La Crosse from 1947 until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Church in Brownsville, the Brownsville Lions Club, the Relaxin' Campers Club and was an active member of the Brownsville community.
In addition to his wife Faye, Eugene is survived by his children: Debra (John) Hickey of Houston, Rebecca (Darrel) Gregerson, Charles (Susan) LeJeune, Jeffrey (Diane) LeJeune and Douglas (Terri) LeJeune, all of Brownsville; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy Schroeder of Coon Valley, Wis., Betty (Virgil) Meinking, Marie (Donald) Servais and Carol Marx all of La Crosse; one brother, Gerald ìBuckî (Linda) LeJeune of La Crosse; and two sisters-in-law, Delores LeJeune of La Crosse and Rosie LeJeune of Coon Valley.
He was preceded In death by three brothers, James, Ervin and William LeJeune, and two sisters, Bernice Schroeder and Lucille Reiter.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2005 at the Zion Evangelical Church in Brownsville. Pastor Brian Cuda will officiate.
Frlends and family may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crescent and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
