Ethel A. Bolduan
Ethel A. Bolduan, 89, of Caledonia, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at Tweeten Health Services, Spring Grove.
She was born November 5, 1915, in Houston County to William and Anna (Pieper) Henselin. On November 24, 1936 Ethel married Victor F. Bolduan at St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church, Caledonia. Together they farmed in Crooked Creek township for 38 years before retiring and moving to Caledonia in 1974. Victor preceded Ethel in death on April 18, 1995. Ethel enjoyed gardening, baking, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with her family and many friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene (David) Peterson of Eitzen; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian (Robert) Bissen and Doretta Schmidt, both of Caledonia; one brother, Gustave (Marjorie) Henselin of Rochester; and one sister-in-law, Lorraine Henselin of Chatfield.
In addition to her husband, Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; two sisters-in-law; and four brothers-in-law.
Services will be Saturday, May 21, 2005, at 11 a.m. at St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church, Caledonia. Rev. Jon Wolff will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home, Caledonia, on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
