Fannie O. Klees
Fannie O. Klees, 80, of La Crescent and formerly of Brownsville, died on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at the La Crescent Healthcare Center.
She was born in Lexington MO, on November 14, 1924 to Ruben and Anna Mae Jackson. She married Francis L. Klees Sr. in Brownsville Texas in June of 1944. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2004.
Fannie is survived by three daughters; Beverly Klees ( and special friend Mel Doss) of La Crosse, Elizabeth Klees of Caledonia, Barbara Kasson of Alma WI; one son Francis (Gloria) Klees Jr. of La Crosse; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one sister, Catherine Dodson of Newport Beach FL.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crescent. The Rev. Paul J. Breeza will officiate. Burial will be in the Veteranís Memorial Community Cemetery, Brownsville Minnesota. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
