Two officers join CPD
The Caledonia Police Department has welcomed two new full-time officers.
Allan Johnson has been an officer for six years. He worked as a patrol deputy and detention deputy for the Olmsted County Police Department, and was most recently an officer in Spring Grove. His first day on the job was April 25. He said he likes the size of the town and is enjoying getting to know people here. He said he is looking forward to working with Chief Randy Shefelbine.
Johnson and his wife, Maria, have two children, Amaya, 4, and Brody, 2. They are expecting their third child this month.
Charles Rolbiecki is a native of Minnesota City near Winona and a graduate of Winona Senior High. He received a degree in criminal justice from Winona State University, and after working for a year in the correctional facility in Red Wing, he attended Alexandria Technical School to become licensed as a peace officer. He is engaged, and recently purchased a house in Caledonia.
ìI am excited to be here and I am looking forward to meeting people,î he said.
