Tom Wermager
Thomas Carl Wermager, 52, of Kona, HI, and formerly of La Crosse, died on Sunday, April 24, 2005, of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on March 7, 2005.
Tom was born in Caledonia, MN on October 28, 1952, to Odin and Rosemary Wermager. He grew up in Caledonia and moved to La Crosse after graduation. He married Barb Derra on June 19, 1982, in La Crosse.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his three children, Tony Derra of Madison, WI; Ashley Wermager of Hokah; and Steven Wermager of Madison; one grandson; sisters Linda (Dean) Steinke, Donna Mae (Jim) Ross, and Mary Kay (John) Olinger; one brother Tony (Connie) Wermager; one grandson; and special friends Al ìDocî Wagner and David ìWoodyî Woods.
A funeral Mass and reception was held on Saturday, May 7 at 1 p.m. at St. Maryís Catholic Church in Caledonia, followed by a 4 p.m. celebration of life at Concordia Hall, La Crosse.
