Mary Fern (Schwebach) Hollis
Mary Fern (Schwebach) Hollis died on November 17, 2005.
She was born June 27, 1924, in Caledonia to Ben and Ida Schwebach.
She married James Edward Hollis in 1946 and lived in the greater Springfield area for approximately 60 years.
She is survived by five children, Loretta Chilton, Vicki (George) Jacobs, Mike (Becky) Hollis, and David (Sharon) Hollis, all of Springfield, MO; Bruce (Sally) Staggert of Champlain, MN. She also has five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother Marcus Schwebach.
A visitation for family and friends was held Sunday, November 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Schweitzer United Methodist Church in Springfield. A private service for the family followed.
Mary fought a long and difficult battle with Alzheimerís disease. In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate donations to the charity of your choice.
