Cecilia E. Hickey
Cecilia E. Hickey, 88, of La Crosse, died on Friday, November 25, 2005 at the Franciscan Skemp Healthcare Medical Center.
She was born in Eau Claire, Wis., on December 22, 1916 to Herman A. and Elizabeth (Kelly) Derouin. She married Francis R. Hickey at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in La Crosse on November 14, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1961.
She is survived by two daughters; Elizabeth (Robert) Sciborski of La Crosse, Virginia (Ronald) Larkin of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two sons; David (Donna) Hickey of Littleton, CO., John (Debbie) Hickey of Money Creek; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Sister Ruth Marie Hickey, of St. Josephís Ridge, WI Ruth Ann Derouin, of Dubuque, Iowa, and Lorraine Derouin of La Crosse; many nieces nephews and cousins and her special friend, Heather Asleson of La Crosse.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The Rev. Lawrence B. Berger will officiate. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery La Crosse. Friends may call at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crosse on Wednesday, from 5 until 7 p.m.. where a Bible vigil will be held at 6:45 p.m. Visitation will also be held at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.Ý
