Second at state
Caledoniaís brilliant run for a state Class AA football championship came to an end last Friday. The Warriors lost their only game of the season to Eden-Valley-Watkins 21-7 in Prep Bowl XXIV. The game featured strong running by players like Nathan Schoenecker, above, who is being tackled by Brandon Skifton. The Eaglesí defense also was able to contain Caledoniaís running game when it counted. The Warriors rushed for 217 yards, but they couldnít finish their drives.
