Sophie Marie Burns
A daughter, Sophie Marie, was born to Patrick and Julie (Demorest) Burns of Caledonia, on September 30, 2005. She weighed 4 pounds, 10 ounces and was 17 inches long.
Grandparents are Kay and Doug Twite of Houston, Harlow (Dave) and Sandy Demorest of La Crescent, Marla and Robert Burns of Caledonia. Great-grandparents are John and Bonnie Loomis of Caledonia, Melba and Joe Miller of Hokah, Jean and Earl Welch of La Crescent and Edy Burns of Caledonia. Great-great-grandmother is Doris Newgard of Mabel.
Riley Francis Diersen
A son, Riley Francis Diersen, was born to Chris and Ann Diersen on September 23, 2005, at 12:56 p.m. He joins an 18 month old brother, Reese, at home.
Grandparents are Francis and Marlys Jennings and Gerald and Nancy Diersen of Caledonia. Great-grandmothers are Ruth Hahn and Elaine Wilhelm of Caledonia.
Cameron Hope Johnson
A daughter, Cameron Hope, was born October 8, 2005 to Lori and Bobbi Johnson of Waukon. Cameron weighed 9 pounds, 4.7 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Grandparents are Willard and Shirley Meyer, Dorchester and Linda Johnson and Wayne Johnson both of Waukon.
