Brueining
Francis and Mary Bruening celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering on October 16. Francis and Mary were married October 20, 1955, at St. Nicholas Church in Freeburg.
They have 15 children: Jerome, Linda, Gery, Henry, Ann, Susan, Julie, Theresa, Grace, Rose, Peter, Paul, Karen, Amy and Mike. They also have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Housker
Norman and Ona Housker will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday, October 29, from 1-4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church dining hall, Spring Grove. All relatives and friends are invited.
Hosts are their children: Richard (Caroline) Housker, Roger Housker, and Ronald (Tami) Housker. They have five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Norman and Ona were married on October 28, 1955, at the Black Hammer Parsonage in Spring Grove.

Morken
George and Marleen Morken will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Saturday, October 29 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Spring Grove Legion. All are welcome.
No gifts please.

Schroeder 40th anniversary
Reuben and Kathy Schroeder will be getting together with family this Sunday to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Caledonia on October 23, 1965. They have three children: Paul (Joanne Mauss), Anna (Brad) Bernau, Bethany (Eric) Sauer.
