Celebrate fall this weekend in Spring Grove

Spring Grove is holding its annual Fall Foliage Celebration this Saturday, October 1.

It includes city wide rummage sales through the day, and Dollars for Scholars Apple Pie Sale. Other events include:

ï Great Pumpkin and Sunflower contest in the gazebo from 8 a.m.-noon;

ï Public library book sale in the Log Cabin from 8:30-11:30 a.m.;

ï Face painting and pumpkin carving from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Viking Memorial Park;

ï Farmerís Market in Viking Memorial Park from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.;

ï Asphalt Bowling & Backseat Driving at 1 p.m.; call 507-498-3931 to register;

ï Scavenger Hunt from noon-4 p.m.; register at the Log Cabin;

ï Scarecrow Row Judging at 2 p.m.; call 507-498-5494 to register.
