BOYS SOCCER
La Crescent avenged an earlier loss to Caledonia with a 2-0 boys soccer victory in Caledonia on September 20.
The Warriors beat Byron 4-0 in a distant away game the previous night, then blanked Onalaska 1-0 on the road on September 24.
FOOTBALL: No, your eyes werenít playing tricks on you Friday night.
Yes, the score board said 35-0 with 1:03 left the first quarter of Caledoniaís home football game against Kingsland.
It was part of a 49-7 Warrior feeding frenzy over the Knights on September 23.
VOLLEYBALL: This was a tough week for the Caledonia volleyball team. First of all, they spent more than seven hours on buses to and from their matches, and then they met teams with no sympathy at all for their travails. Goodhue defeated the Warriors in three games, and Southland came out on top over the Warriors in four.
GIRLS SOCCER: If the girlsí soccer teamís pattern of wins and losses to La Crescent holds, the team will be in position to beat the Lancers at tournament time.
The team lost a game to La Crescent 0-1 on September 6, then won against the team in the Caledonia Invitational on September 17. The girls lost to La Crescent last Tuesday 0-2.
