Scott C. Frederickson

Scott C. Frederickson, 49, of Mabel died unexpectedly Friday, September 2, 2005 at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, Iowa.

Scott Craig Frederickson was born April 4, 1956 in Anchorage, Alaska to Dennis and Janice (Hadenfeldt) Frederickson. Scott was a 1974 graduate of Mabel-Canton High School. He was currently employed at Fastenal Company in Winona.

Scott married Deanne Baker in Decorah, IA in August 1980 and they were later divorced.

On May 28, 1988, he married Lita Coburn in Stockholm, WI. The couple resided their entire married life in Mabel.

Scott was a member of Calvary Evangelical Free Church of Spring Grove. In the community of Mabel he was active in the Mabel Boy Scout program, Sons of American Legion, and at the time of his death was taking EMT training.

Scott is survived by his wife Lita of Mabel, daughter Amy of Rochester, and sons John and Wyatt at home; father Dennis (Marybeth) Frederickson of Spring Grove; sister Denise (Kent) Bummert of Holmen, brother Gary (Kristin) Frederickson of Minnesota City, sister-in-law Darla (Jim) Gilliland of Plum City, WI and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, paternal and maternal grandparents, a brother-in-law Steve Bulman and a nephew, Travis Bulman.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2005 at the Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Spring Grove. Pastor Gary Hempal officiated. Burial was in the Trinity Cemetery in Spring Grove. Visitation was Sunday, September 4, at the Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel and one hour prior to services at the church.
