Hurricane relief donations welcome
People who want to make cash donations to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina can do so at some Caledonia locations.
Merchants Bank has cans out for cash donations, as do its branches in Onalaska and La Crescent.
Bank of the West in Caledonia is receiving cash donations too, as is the library and city hall in Caledonia.
In Spring Grove, the Evangelical Free Church has a truck that is accepting donations like bottled water, blankets, towels, washcloths, and personal items. Call 507-498-5386 for more information.
Scenic Bluffs Chapter of the American Red Cross welcomes donations. Call 608-788-1000 or 800-837-6313 for more information.
In La Crosse, the La Crosse Center has been designated as a dropoff site for donations of cash and checks for the next 30 days. Go to the front door on Second Street from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
