Cleo Mae Jorgenson
Cleo Mae Jorgenson, 77, died Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at La Crescent Health Care Center.
Cleo was born May 24, 1928 in De Soto, WI to Joseph and Thelma (Promley) Morris. She married Aldin Jorgenson in Caledonia on March 4, 1950. Cleo was a longtime nurseís aid at the nursing home in LaCrescent. She was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Houston, and its WELCA. Cleo will be remembered for her talent with quilting and crafts.
Survivors include her three sons, Wayne (Marie) of Waco, TX, Gary (Pauline) of Dakota and Joseph (Wanda) of LaCrescent; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Beverly (Irvin) Veglan of Genoa, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Aldin, daughter, Ruth, granddaughter, Bridget Krumrie and brother, Robert.
Funeral services are planned for Saturday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Houston, with the Rev. Lane Zaffke officiating. Interment will be in the Stone Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral Home - Houston Chapel on Friday from 5-8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
