Filing for city offices underway
Filing for city offices started on August 29 and runs until September 12.
Cities all have a mayor up for election for two year terms and two city council positions for four years.
In Brownsville, the current mayor is Tim Serres. The two council people up for election are Joe Serres and Pam Walhovd, who is filling out Jim Driscollís term.
In Caledonia, the current mayor is Mike Morey. The two council people up for election are Paul Fisch and Randi Vick.
In Eitzen, the current mayor is Ron Meyer. The two council people up for election are Jeff Merzenich and Keith Meyer.
In Hokah the current mayor is Mike Walsh. The two council members up for election are Lance Ross and Kevin Walther.
In Houston, the current mayor is Connie Krenzke. The two council members up for election are Joe Krage and Cheryl Sanden-Beth.
In La Crescent, the current mayor is Mikel Poellinger. The council members up for election are Steve Bissen and Greg Husmann.
