BOYS BASKETBALL: Caledonia came back from a 4-point halftime deficit to beat Spring Grove 49-47 at home in boys basketball on December 2. It was the first win of the year for the Warriors, who lost to Aquinas 73-34 in the season opener in La Crosse on November 30.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: Caledonia has had an impressive beginning to its 2006-07 girls basketball season. The team is off to a 5-0 start after winning three more games last week. They defeated Southland 62-39 at home on November 28, then won at Chatfield 59-47 on November 30 and at Mabel-Canton 57-31 on December 1.
WRESTLING: Caledonia/Houston/Spring Grove finished second in its first wrestling tournament of the season last Saturday.
The Warriors had 206 points in the 11-team Winona Invitational, which Scott West won with 276 points. Dover-Eyota was third with 191 points.
Tyler Burg was the only champion for Caledonia at 119.

Caledonia did not have a heavyweight.
