The incident occurred on September 7 as he drove his Chevy Blazer home from a bar and tipped it on its side on County Road 249. A passenger was injured.
Danielson pled guilty on November 1 to the charge and to violation of a harassment restraining order. He received a 365 day jail sentence for the latter, which will be served concurrently with his prison sentence.
He was also sentenced on November 21 for second degree refusal to test for alcohol consumption in a separate court case. The judge waived a $3,000 fine and 365 jail sentence in that case.
Danielson was credited for 76 days already served. He will serve 13-1/2 months in custody and 6-2/3 months on supervised released.

John Michael Luhman, 19, finished serving a 68-day jail sentence on November 16.
He was sentenced on October 18 by Judge James Fabian. The judge stayed a 12-month prison sentence and a year in jail sentence. Luhman will have to pay $900 of a $3,000 fine, and pay $1,200 to a public defenderís fund.
Luhman pled guilty to September 11 to fourth degree assault of a peace officer, a felony; fourth degree burglary, a gross misdemeanor; and fourth degree criminal damage to property, a misdemeanor.
The charges came from an incident on May 3 in which Luhman kicked open the door at his former girlfriendís house and forced her to the ground. He also head-butted a Caledonia Police officer, and had to be subdued using a Taser.
Weber hearing set
An omnibus hearing for Todd Michael Weber, 35, is set for January 29 at 2:30 p.m.
Weber was charged on November 8 with third degree criminal sexual conduct and false imprisonment. He allegedly raped a woman at his Caledonia apartment on the night of November 7, then refused to let her leave.
The woman called a friend from the apartment, who then called 9-1-1, according to the criminal complaint. She was then able to leave the apartment after Weber left, the complaint states. Caledonia police arrested Weber as he returned to his apartment at about 5:30 a.m. the following day.
He is currently free on bail.
