Gloria M. Erickson
Gloria M. Erickson, 70, died Saturday, February 25, 2006, at Valley View Nursing Home in Houston.
She was born June 16, 1935 in Spring Grove, to Edward and Violet (Muns) Mathison. She married Ellsworth Erickson on May 28, 1955 in Houston. Gloria was an active member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church. Gloria was a life long homemaker who enjoyed raising her family, spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and flowers.
Survivors include her two children, Dale (Teresa) Erickson and Jeanne (Jerry) Tippery both of Houston; two grandchildren; brother, Myron (Barb) Mathison of Black Hammer; and sister, Janice (Allen) Kroshus of Spring Grove.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and two brothers, James and Vernon.
Services are planned for Wednesday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lane Zaffke officiating. Burial will be in the Stone Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral Homes - Houston Chapel on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
