Evelyn "Ma" Colsch
Evelyn ìMaî Colsch, 79 of Freeburg, MN died Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at her home, surrounded by many of her family.
Evelyn was born in Lansing, IA on June 1, 1926 to Leonard and Ariel (Inman) Mulholland. She married Edward Colsch Sr. on December 22, 1942 in New Albin. They were married 55 years and Evelyn continued to live on the farm after he preceded her in death on May 18, 1997.
Evelyn is survived by nine children; Margaretta Cue (Scott Carroll), of Lansing, IA, Ariel (Peter) Gilbertson, of Reno, Edward ìLugî (Kathy) Colsch, of Brownsville, MN, Evelyn ìGrannyî (Edward) Bebee, of Reno, Raymond ìFargoî (Dolly) Colsch, Freeburg, Ronnie ìPunkî Colsch, of Freeburg, Merrell ìCobbî (Karen) Colsch, of Reno, Calvin (Donna) Colsch, of Freeburg, Herbert (Mary) Colsch, of New Albin, IA; 26 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond (Bonnie) Mulholland, of New Albin.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, parents, nine brothers, a grandson Rick Hutchings, and great-grandson Adam Woodard .
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at The Community Center in New Albin with Pastor Bill Reese officiating. Burial will be in Sand Cove Cemetery, rural New Albin.
Friends may call on Saturday from 5 to 8 pm at the New Albin Community Center.
The Thornburg Hanson Funeral Home in Lansing is assisting the family.
