Shane Miller
Shane J. Miller, 28, of Brownsville died Sunday, January 1, 2006 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, of complications from muscular dystrophy.
He was born April 28, 1977 in LaCrosse to John and Rosemary (Mullen) Miller. Shane attended Caledonia High School and graduated in 1996. He then went to WWTC in LaCrosse and received a degree in Accounting in 1999. Shane was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. He also enjoyed farming activities and his horse.
He is survived by his parents John and Rosemary Miller of Brownsville; his sisters Nicole Miller and Christine Miller; one niece, his paternal grandparents, Martin and Beatrice Miller, all of La Crescent; his aunts and uncles, many cousins and a special cousin, Jason Storlie of Brownsville.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur 'Bud' and Helen Mullen and cousin Matthew Johnson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at St. Maryís Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Gregory Leif will officiate and burial will be in St. Patrickís Cemetery, Brownsville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday at Holy Family Hall, behind St. Mary's Church, 513 South Pine St. Caledonia, where a prayer service will be said at 7:30 pm. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday.
McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia is assisting the family with arrangements.
