Wilma M. Burns
Wilma M. Burns of St. Charles, died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester. She was born May 29, 1921, to Martin and Martha (Kohlmeyer) Schroeder in Caledonia, MN. In 1944 she married W. L. (Bill) Burns and subsequently moved to St. Charles where they owned and operated the ìBakeryî for more than 30 years.
She is survived by her son Dana and wife Mary Burns of Eau Claire, WI, and daughter Edith and husband Randy Senst of Two Harbors, MN; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; sisters in-law Mildred Schroeder, Edna Burns, and Helen Buxengard, all of Caledonia, and Esther Limper of Yuba City, CA.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; brothers, Donald and Orville Schroeder; and sister, Helen Ann.
Funeral Services were at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Charles with the Rev. Michael Hart officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends call from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at Hoff Funeral HomeñSt. Charles Chapel.
