BOYS BASKETBALL: Caledonia won its fifth straight boys basketball game with a 42-30 win at Chatfield on January 27.
It followed two other victories last week, 77-52 at Houston on January 23, then 69-39 at home against Elgin Millville on January 24.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: The Caledonia girlsí basketball team came up against a tough Elgin-Millville team for their first lost in 11 games on January 23, 66-64. They came back with a big 58-35 win against a taller Chatfield team on January 27. Their record moves to 15-4, 11-2 in the conference.

GYMNASTICS: Caledonia/Spring Grove had four gymnasts in the varsity all-around category at the girlsí meet against Stewartville.
Katie Wiste was third in the all-around with a total score of 31.325. Karly Misch had a score of 31.2 and Samantha Wermagerís all-around score was 30.2. Courtney Gran had a score of 24.7
The girls dropped the meet 120.725 to 124.6.

WRESTLING: Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston swept its competition in the Caledonia Invitational Wrestling Tournament on January 28.
The Warriors beat Stewartville 44-23, Winona 84-0, and La Crescent 69-8.
The wins followed three other dual meet victories lalst week. The team beat Crestwood of Cresco, IA, 40-22 and Waukon 45-26 on January 24 in Waukon, then pounded Southland at home two nights later, 44-15.
The team now has a record of 19-5 and hasnít lost since The Clash in Rochester on December 31. They have won 14 meets in a row.
