BOYS BASKETBALL: Caledonia took third in the La Crosse Central Holiday Boys Basketball Tournament on December 28-29.
The Warriors (5-2) lost to Hudson, WI, 53-49 the first night, then beat West Salem, WI, the next day 56-47.
GIRLS BASKETBALL: The Caledonia girls basketball team came away with the Bracket B Warrior Club Holiday Basketball Tournament championship in Winona last week.
The Warriors downed Lanesboro 53-52 on December 27, then topped Lewiston-Altura the next day 53-39.
WRESTLING: Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston split its meets in The Clash wrestling tournament in Rochester on December 30-31.
They went 1-2 on Friday, losing first to Vacaville, CA, 43-30 and then to Lodi, Wisconsin, 37-32. They ended the night with a rout over Minot, ND, 64-3.
Saturday started with a 47-16 loss to Coon Rapids, but the Warriors rebounded with a thrilling 36-33 win over Bon Homme, SD, and a 36-27 win over Section 1AA rival Stewartville.
