Rose Mary Wermager
Rose Mary Wermager, 77, of Caledonia, died Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center, LaCrosse, WI .
She was born August 3, 1928 in Caledonia to Levi and Kathryn (Kaeder) Sullivan. On October 25, 1947 she married Odin Wermager.
Rose Mary belonged to St. Maryís Catholic Church and its Council of Catholic Women, and was a longtime member of the rosary group as well as president for one year of the Altar Society.
She worked for Control Data, Spring Grove for many years and at the Redwood CafÈ, Caledonia.
In addition to her husband Odin, she is survived by her children, Linda (Dean) Steinke of San Jose, CA, Mary Kay (John) Olinger of Onalaska, Donna Mae (James) Ross of Hokah and Tony (Connie) Wermager of Hokah, 17 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a sister, Irene Biedma of Citrus Heights, CA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Thomas, her brothers James and Arthur and a sister Edna Sullivan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 27, at St. Maryís Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Gregory Leif will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the church Thursday.
