Benora Harcey
Benora Harcey, 91, of Stillwater died Friday, July 1, 2006.
She was born on July 22, 1914, in Houston to Bern and Gusta Orr. She was married to Rev. Frank Harcey in 1938, and lived in many different communities before settling in Stillwater following the accidental death of her husband.
She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Stillwater, Stillwater Senior Center, the Business and Professional Women and the Womanís Reading Club of Stillwater. Benora enjoyed her volunteer work and especially loved time with family and her many close friends.
She is survived by a son Dennis (Mary) Harcey of Stillwater; daughter Karen (Gary) Ganser of Mayville, WI; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Allen Orr and a sister, Alys Howard.
Services will be held Saturday, July 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Stillwater. Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church, Stillwater.
